The site

How it all started

Before Your Final Demise, I previously owned a site -whose name I have forgotten- and was hosted on Freewebs. I ran that site of a couple of months until a group of friends asked me to help create another site to cure their boredom. On May 29 of 2008, Your Final Demise was born on Freewebs and it offered, I must admit, medicore to awful graphics and layouts. As time went on, I started to pay attention to the group site instead of my own so I decided to close it.

After a couple of months into the group site, my friends decided that they no longer wished to continue maintaining the site so they just left. I, on the other hand, wished to maintain the site and let it live a little longer. A couple months after that, I applied to get reviewed by Angela. After the review, I receive mostly postive feedback from her along with an offer to get hosted by her. I accepted the offer and on October 13 of 2008, I had successfully moved my site from Freewebs to a subdomain.

From then on, this site has grown at a rapid pace. As of now, this site provides designs, icons, Adobe Photoshop 7.0 splash images, icon bases, scans, tutorials, stock images, and PSDs. I had no intention to keep the site running for this long but now, I wish to keep it running as long as I can.

As said in the information above, my name is Amanda though I prefer to go by Manda. I'm outgoing in reality and online and I will 99.99% of the time, voice my opinion. Like every human, I have my faults.

I dislike many things and at the same time, like many things though I will point out that I hate chocolate and just about every flower on this planet, excluding a few. If my friends had to use one word to describe me, it would most likely be either: random, weird, or interesting. My emotions are jumbled up most of the time and have a tendency to switch at the most random moments.

When away from school, I need music to make my brain function. Music is my paradise and haven. When I'm away from school, you'll most likely find me with Sony headphones stuck in my ears.

I absolutely love close combat video games like Samurai Warriors or Chaos Legion. I'm the type of girl that doesn't mind gory video games. Far distance combat like Halo and Left4Dead are not my thing though I sometimes play them when I'm at my cousins house.

I'm one hundred fifty-six centimeters which is approximately five feet and one inch. I'm not short, I'm just vertically challenged. It's probably because I don't sleep a lot.

I watch anime when I'm bored. I've watched too many animes to list right here but you can go check the list on my livejournal account. As for my favorite characters, get ready for a list.
