Making your text or image have a border

001. First type your text. My font type was set to Trajan Pro at 23pt. This is what mines currently looks like:

002. Right click your text or image layer and click on Blending Opinions and a window should have popped up. Look for the word stroke on the left hand side and click on it.

003. Now you should have a window that looks like the image below.

004. Now you can make a border around your text or image.

005. I'm just going to explain this tutorial just with the fill type as color. Okay, do you see the colorful box below where it says fill type? Click on the box and change the color to your desired border color. My choice of color is #250101, which is a dark red color. Your text or images' new border should look a little bit like the image below.

006. It's too bold for my tastes and a little bit too thick don't you think? So, I changed the opacity to 34, and the size to 2. Now, the border is smaller while the border color is lighter, yet still visible.
